It’s Silver’s Sock Week, Ya’ll!!!

Hiya all! Guess what? It’s Sock Week!!! I decided I wanted to see how fast I could knit a sock. I’ve called this pair my “Speed Run” socks. Because I’m me, I recorded the entire journey.

I timed every part of the socks as I went. There’s a timer, and everything!!!

My initial thought was to try to finish the socks over the course of 9 days. Spoiler, it took less time! 

 

 

 

 

Day 1: 

Day 1 was all about the Toe and a bit of the foot. Here is the breakdown of those splits.

Day 2 was all about the rest of the foot and the gusset. Here is the breakdown of those splits.

Day 3:

Day 3 was all about the Heel Turn, Heel flap, and part of the Leg. Here is the breakdown of those splits.

Day 4:

Day 4 was all about the Leg, the Ribbing, and the second sock to the 20 rows mark. Here is the breakdown of those splits.

Day 5 was all about the rest of the foot and most of the heel. In fact, I got to the start of the heel flap. Here is the breakdown of those splits.
