Hey everyone! Hope you are well! I’ve been premiering a few puzzle series’ on YouTube recently, and I just realized I never told you about them. They are both by a company called Odd Pieces. They both are created by artists who have some AMAZING talent. What you see on the box isn’t what you are building. The entire concept of all of Odd Pieces’ puzzles, is that you are building the world after a mystery happened. You have to build the puzzle and search it for clues about what happened to make the puzzle you built happen. They DO give you the answer at the end, which is pretty cool. But before you start, they give you stickers, an intro to what the start of the mystery is (in the form of a comic), a checklist of things to look for as you do the puzzle, and an intro into the artist that drew each story for them. Which I LOVE! I love that this company gives the artist credit and is willing to pay them for their work. Alright. Now that I’ve talked about the premise of these puzzles, let’s talk about the second puzzle Emptyeye and I put together.
It was called “AstroGastro” by Arindam Dhar. The artist can be found on Instagram. Where you can buy the Puzzle. It was 1,000 pieces and took me about a month of non-constant work, which I put into 5 different videos.
Here is what the puzzle looked like when I finally finished it.
