Hey everyone!!! Guess what?!? It’s time to check in with my Entwined Forest Throw blankets!!! There has been a bit of progress since my last post!
Let’s first talk about my progress on my “Green Tree” blanket since the last time I posted here. As all blankets are wont to do… It has grown in size SOOOO much.

During Week 9, I worked on Green Tree a bunch. Both on stream and off. If you’d like to see that full stream, it is titled “11/25: Working on my “Green Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Week 9).” This is a four parter, as my internet couldn’t hold it together to save it’s life, apparently…
During Week 10, I made a bit of progress as well. If you’d like to see that full stream, it is titled “12/2: Working on my “Green Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Week 10).”

During Week 11, I managed to do a bit of work on and off stream. If you’d like to see that full stream, it is titled “12/9: Working on my “Green Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Week 11: Part 1).” This is the week that I started the Top Border section. After picking up for the Border section with the US 6’s, I switched over to a US 8, as I was starting to work on some cabling, and I tend to need the extra stretched. I ended the week on Row 3 of the main pattern after 9 rows of a seed stitch pattern. The main pattern is called the “Tree of Life” pattern.
During Week 12, I made ALOT of progress off-stream. I made the decision during this week, to cancel streams at least until the new year. But that’s another story all-together.
I also feel like I was more concentrated on this blanket without having to worry about streaming it. You can see this, as I knit rows 4 through 32 of the pattern that week.

Because I’m me, I created a timelapse of all of this progress, as well as a visual representation of the project breakdown in terms of numbers of stitches. It shows my progress through all of Weeks 9-12, and explains my process in a video form. This video went live on Tuesday morning. Hope you enjoy it!!!
For those that were having issues reading those images at the end of the video, here is that breakdown for you.
Block 12: 15 Ridges / 4,500 stitches
Block 13: 15 Ridges / 6,300 Stitches, over 2 weeks.
Week 9: 540 Stitches

Block 14: 15 Ridges / 4,050 Stitches
Top Border Block: 40 Rows / 7,360 Stitches over 2 weeks.
Week 11: 13 Rows / 2,392 Stitches
Week 12: 27 Rows / 4,968 Stitches
Total Stitches put into the blanket in Weeks 9 through 12: 22,210 Stitches.
Okay. Let’s talk about my progress on my “Purple Tree” blanket for Weeks 9 through 12.
During Week 9, I didn’t knit on this blanket as much as I would have liked to. But I DID make some progress. I knit up the rest of the block I started during week 7.
During Week 10, I made a bit of progress as well. I finished 2 whole blocks and the start of another. This was both on stream and off. If you’d like to see that full stream for that week, it is titled “12/4: Working on my “Purple Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Part 10).”
During Week 11, I didn’t work on the blanket at all. During Week 12, I decided that I needed to try to catch myself up to the start of the Top Border section at the very least. Here is where the Purple Blanket will stay for a bit, as I only have 1 set of US 8 needles. I hope to be back to this blanket by the start of 2026, but we’ll see how it all goes…
