Entwined Hearts – Part 2

Hey everyone!!! Guess what?!? It’s time to check in with my Entwined Forest Throw blankets!!! There has been a bit of progress since the last post!

Let’s first talk about my progress on my “Green Tree” blanket since the last time I posted here. As all blankets are wont to do… It has grown in size SOOOO much.

The picture you’re seeing is JUST after I finished working on the blanket during Week 8. Somehow, I managed to NOT get a picture before that. I’m not sure how. Or if I did get pictures, they’re long gone for one reason or another…

During Week 5, I managed a BUNCH on stream. If you’d like to see that full stream, it is titled “10/28: Working on my “Green Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Part 5).” This is a three parter.

During Week 6, I made a bit of progress as well. If you’d like to see that full stream, it is titled “11/4: Working on my “Green Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Part 6).” This is a two parter.

During Weeks 7 & 8, I made ALOT of progress off-stream. I had some health issues that caused me to cancel streams. However, I still wanted to work on the blanket, so I did. I did QUITE a bit during this time.

Because I’m me, I created a timelapse of all of this progress, as well as a visual representation of the project breakdown in terms of numbers of stitches. It shows my progress through all of Weeks 5-8, and explains my process in a video form. This video went live on Tuesday morning. Hope you enjoy it!!!

For those that were having issues reading those images at the end of the video, here is that breakdown for you.

Block 8: 11 Ridges 1,980 stitches

Block 9: 6,300 Stitches, over 3 weeks.

Week 5: 2,520 Stitches

Okay. Let’s talk about my progress on my “Purple Tree” blanket for Weeks 5 through 8.

During Week 5, I didn’t knit on this blanket as much as I would have liked to. But I DID make some progress.

During Week 6, I made a bit of progress as well. If you’d like to see that full stream, it is titled “11/7: Working on my “Purple Tree” Blanket Today and vibing with music (Part 6).” This is a two parter.

During Week 7, I made a fair bit of progress over several blocks. I felt like I needed to try to catch myself up to where I was on the Green blanket. I didn’t QUITE get there, but a fair bit of progress was made. So much so, that I didn’t work on this blanket during week 8 AT ALL! Mostly because I was concentrated on the other blanket. But also… My hands needed a break.
